$21 - $25.00 PER HOUR
This is an intermediate level position in which the employee will perform the day-to-day administrative and accounting service obligations of a portfolio of investment properties.

This role will be the primary accounting contact for the Rental Division. The individual will be responsible for a range of duties ranging from knowledge of detailed rental property accounting information to escalation resolution. Specific duties include:
- Prioritize day-to-day work assignments and shifting business demands to meet company service levels and customer needs.
- Possess expert knowledge of Henderson Properties policies and procedures and enforces them appropriately. Provides expertise in trouble shooting difficult and complicated problems that have been escalated to ensure high customer service levels are maintained.
- Process lockbox payments, identify problem transactions, submit resolution tickets with financial institution and take appropriate steps in accounting system to correct misapplied payments.
- Complete monthly bank and account reconciliations for all company rental accounts.
- Process monthly auto-drafts, monitor and administer payment plans drafts.
- Complete general ledger reclassifications.
- Finalize and publish end of month property owner statements.
- Distribute funds to investment property owners each month.
- Meet with rental property managers when requested to review financial reports and answer questions.
- Special accounting projects or other duties as assigned by supervisor.
PREFERRED EDUCATION
Two-year college degree in business or related field, or equivalent business/office experience preferred.
At least two years' experience in accounting or a related field. Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent experience. Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills. Proficient in Microsoft applications. Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to read and analyze financial reports. Homeowner Association industry experience preferred.
