As a Cloud Security Engineer, you will:
• Partner with technology operations to ensure and maintain highly available systems and services
• Develop solutions for complex technical infrastructure as a part of a cross-functional team
• Drive the next generation of security offerings as part of overall strategy for Navvis HIPAA controls
A Day in the Life:
• Investigate, engineer, deploy, troubleshoot, & support technologies to monitor network and host systems for cyber threats and alert incident response
• Solving complex challenges in innovative ways to drive to solution on the cloud security stack
• Perform system and application tuning for maximum effectiveness and minimizing false notifications
• Improving infrastructure operations and security posture through better use of monitoring, and automation scripting
• Improving security infrastructure governance and processes
• To help remediate tough technical support issues in both cloud and hybrid environment
• Troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
• Analyzing general system processing throughput, utilization, and capacity

We are excited about you if you have these things:
• 3-5 years of experience in cloud engineering or cybersecurity with a focus on site reliability engineering.
• Knowledge of securing public cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services
• Proven ability to script/program using development languages (e.g. Python, Ruby, Powershell)
• Experience with HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2
• Experience working in healthcare or other highly regulated industries
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and system orchestration
