NCYL seeks a dynamic and talented senior program associate to lead, implement and support projects of NCYL’s new Education Civil Rights Alliance (ECRA), which is working to achieve education equity by advancing civil rights in education systems around the country. This position will be based out of our DC office and will be supervised by NCYL’s ECRA Director. The position will also have some office manager responsibilities for NCYL’s six-person DC office.
Current ECRA projects include:
Leading and facilitating implementation of Education Civil Rights Alliance projects; adding resources to the ECRA website; postings updates on social media channels (50%);
Providing support to the ECRA Director on other projects/work of the Education Civil Rights Alliance (30%), including:
Supporting the day-to-day needs of NCYL’s six-person DC office (20%), including:
Salary and Benefits and Location
This is a full-time position. Salary will be between $60,000 - $68,000 annually. NCYL provides health, dental, vision, life, short-term and long-term disability insurance, vacation benefits, sabbatical and an employer contribution to a retirement plan.
