TITLE: Capacity Building VISTA

About All Chicago:
All Chicago Making Homelessness History (All Chicago) prevents and ends homelessness through four signature approaches: emergency financial assistance, community partnerships, data analytics, and training and research. All Chicago provides the backbone support for a city-wide response to homelessness by partnering with over 40 organizations and leading them through a year-round research, evaluation, strategic planning, and federal funding application process. We provide trainings, workshops, research, and analysis to help our partners apply proven strategies to prevent and end homelessness even more effectively.
The AmeriCorps member will be part of All Chicago’s monitoring & capacity building team. This position will focus on helping the team shift to an active contract management approach to partner collaboration. The AmeriCorps member will assist in developing a pilot program that will use high-frequency data reviews and purposeful collaboration. This approach will lead to real-time troubleshooting and identification of best practices.
The AmeriCorps member will support the team in gathering information, collecting feedback from partners, identifying data-sharing approaches, establishing a culture of partnership, and formalizing the approach by developing a toolkit and roadmap.
This position is a part of the Housing Action VISTA Network, which is an AmeriCorps VISTA program managed by Housing Action Illinois since 2010. As such, this position will receive customized training, support, guidance, and networking opportunities, in addition to the traditional opportunities for AmeriCorps VISTA positions.
