You have a passion for designing beautiful environments that make using a business web application a delightful experience. You make providing an inclusive experience for a diverse range of end users a priority. You stay up-to-date on changing industry trends that push the boundaries of web application design. You believe that anyone can integrate good design practices into their work and you enjoy teaching others. Balancing user, organizational and technical needs is important to you, and you thrive off of receiving feedback and learning from your colleagues. You get excited about starting at the ground level of a solution and influencing its direction within an open-ended environment that encourages feelings of freedom and creativity.
About the Role:
As a User Interface Designer you will be a member of an agile team that has high client and organizational impact. You’ll recommend improvements to an existing multi-project framework, as well as set organizational standards. You will translate business needs to wireframes, mockups, flows and set standards that are implemented by software engineers. You will also ensure implementations are following standards by working closely with software engineers to review and adjust designs as needed. You will interact with business analysts and end users to provide and receive feedback to better understand user needs. You’ll work in both in-person and remote settings. Your work schedule will take place in the Eastern time zone and will travel to our Okemos, MI office on a quarterly basis.
