Our mission at SELF is to empower schools to create welcoming and effective communities that enable ALL students to achieve their fullest potential. Responsibility: It is our responsibility to use our own talents and capacities in order to ensure that the mindsets and systems are in place for our students to have equitable, inclusive, and anti-bias classroom spaces.
Team Work: We prioritize collaboration to ensure a stronger sense of belonging. We lead ourselves and others in a way that places all students at the center of our work.
Position Overview: The Program Coordinator will be responsible for all of the operational work (eg. program logistics, communication, and follow-up) for our two fellowship programs: Leader Fellowship and Teacher Fellowship (SDC).

For each event, a team member acts as a “producer” ensuring that the logistics are set up and managing all of the behind the scenes aspects of the zoom meeting (eg. timers, slides, breakout rooms etc.) so that the program lead can focus on facilitating the meeting. Some of our programming will remain virtual and some of it will go back to in-person.
Own all operational and logistics related communications: The Program Coordinator will communicate Fellows and school leadership regarding any details related to events, follow-up communications, and feedback surveys.
Special projects: SELF is a collaborative and dynamic team. The Program Coordinator may provide operational and logistics support on other SELF programming and/or special projects as needed.
