All Chicago manages the Homeless Management Information System, the database which contains data on Chicagoans experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness and the services they receive. Our team supports more than 1000 individuals with training, helpdesk services, and running and interpreting reports. Chicago also leverages this data to drive allocation decisions, set strategy and policy, and monitor progress toward ending homelessness.

Scope of Work Summary:
All Chicago supports Chicago’s Continuum of Care (CoC) which is a membership organization comprised of more than 100 organizations and individuals who drive Chicago’s citywide response to homelessness. All Chicago is considered the “backbone” of Chicago’s city-wide response to homelessness and coordinates training and financial support for over 164 housing and homeless services projects in Chicago. All Chicago views young people of lived experience as leaders and a crucial participant in decision-making processes. The Youth Action Board Coordinator supports the Youth Action Board (YAB), a key body consisting of youth who are current consumers of Chicago’s homeless system, as well as youth who were formerly homeless or are at risk of becoming homeless. The YAB consists of 10-12 youth, ages 18-25, who utilized their lived experiences to develop solutions to end youth homelessness in Chicago. The Youth Action Board Consultant (YAB-C) is responsible for helping plan, coordinate and support the facilitation of regular meetings with YAB members. The YAB-C is also responsible for activities including but not limited to administrative tasks, records management, the development of reports, and project planning. The Youth Action Board Consultant will report to the Senior Program Manager to inform the strategies regarding youth homelessness.

The Youth Action Board Consultant is contract position that is expected to commit to 20-25 hours per month at agreed upon hourly fee. Consultant will enter into an independent contractor agreement with All Chicago. Consultant will bill for services rendered on a monthly basis
