Cleaning Aide

The Cleaning Aide job is to perform a routine and extensive range of work which includes maintenance of building with minimum supervision.



  1. Perform general cleaning duties to the assigned location
  2. Mopping the floors in cubicles, offices, community rooms, visitation rooms, restrooms, and reception and client waiting areas on a daily basis
  3. Vacuuming the carpet on a weekly basis, ensuring that the carpets are liter free
  4. Shampooing rugs and carpet on a monthly basis
  5. Wiping down the work station on an as needed basis
  6. Changing the trash liners in all trash cans and disposal of trash bags in the appropriate locations on a daily basis
  7. Maintain conference and board rooms; polishing the tables on a daily basis
  8. Maintain floors by buffing, polishing and using Viper cleaning machine
  9. Maintain the employee break room and community lunch room
  10. Maintain a neat and clean external entrance and common and dumpster areas
  11. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
  12. Follow guidelines of the work code of ethics by maintaining the confidentiality of clients
  13. Be receptive to open lines of communication with supervisor
  14. Perform all other duties as requested by supervisor and/or director

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work under pressure
