Our solution combines the power of 5G radio technology, edge computing, and machine learning to deploy a zero-touch private wireless network that seamlessly integrates with an existing enterprise network over the high-speed CBRS spectrum.

Celona is seeking a seasoned Staff QA Engineer who would help us ensure that Celona’s enterprise 5G LAN solutions meets both internal and our customers quality expectations. Candidates must possess initiative, adaptability, problem solving skills, and deep understanding of QA processes. Candidates with networking as well as packet core experience would be a huge plus!


  • Work with software development engineers, field support engineers, product managers, and software test engineers to analyze customer requirements and use cases, gather technical details and create software test plans
  • Build and maintain system testbeds and related network infrastructure
  • Understand features to comprehensively develop test plans and test cases
  • Provide clearly documented bug reports that gives a detailed characterization of the conditions the bug is triggered, the behavior that results and the ultimate impact on the end users/customers
  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in QA methodologies for networking products
  • Experience with Cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) management and API’s for networking or packet core products
  • Experience with commercial (IXIA, Spirent, Viavi, etc.) open source performance and scale test tools 
  • Subject matter expert in either:

                 o Data network protocols/technologies (routers, firewalls, VLAN, TCP/IP, DHCP, NAT)

                 o Packet core technologies (5G, 4G, EPC, MME, S-GW, P-GW, HSS)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Solid understanding of testing and triage defects.
  • Comfortable dealing with ambiguity in an environment where speed and scale is our direction. Ability to self-direct, work within constraints and be a strong team player
  • Programming/Scripting experience with Python, Selenium, API automation is desired
