Job Title: Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism
Reports To: Artistic Director and Executive Director
FLSA Status: Exempt, Annual Full-time
Pay Tier: 7
Salary: $72,000-$77,000/year, competitive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, voluntary supplemental benefits, 401(k), vacation, sick time, personal time, and paid holidays.

Reporting jointly to the Artistic Director and Executive Director, this new senior level position is a highly collaborative role that will develop, organize, and implement equity, diversity, inclusion, and anti-racism (EDIA) initiatives and strategies in support of Trinity Rep’s EDIA goals. The Director of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism will work with the organization’s board of trustees, artistic and executive directors, senior management team, staff, and artists to help support the alignment of Trinity Rep’s programs, activities, and operations with its aspirations to be a model and force for a more just society.

Education and/or Experience:
Seven or more years of professional experience and/or training in cultural studies, psychology, sociology, human resources, change management, EDI consulting, or related field; strong administrative and organizational skills; interest and/or involvement in an arts related enterprise; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, business plans, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present complex information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, public groups, and the Board of Trustees in writing, by telephone, through face-to-face conversation, and public speaking.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and statistics. Ability to manage a budget.
High degree of integrity and professionalism, respecting confidential information and relationships. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to identify priorities, develop strategies, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines and goals. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data and information, establish facts, define problems, and draw valid conclusions.
Proficiency with MS Office suite

EDI certification strongly preferred
