Description

American Spoon is hiring, a year around part-time sales associate/key holder to assist our Retail Store Manager in our Saugatuck, MI location. 

  

As a Retail Associate/key holder you will:


* Greet, welcome and provide our customers with an  exceptional customer experience


* Provide our customers with information and features of our products, i.e. locally grown fruit, local farmers, family owned, etc.


* Assist & advise our customers on product uses, recipes, easy parings etc.


* Assist with the merchandise displays-keep store stocked clean & organized


* Complete sales and service process utilizing our POS purchasing system


* Opening and Closing procedures


*  Assisting with other duties as assigned by the manager


 

 


Requirements

A passion for food and a strong interest in and knowledge of local agriculture. 


Energetic spirit, positive attitude, self- motivation and the desire to work as part of a team. Must have high standards and an unwillingness to compromise on quality. 


Must be reliable, dependable and have some retail sales experience. 


Willingness to increase work availability during peak seasons


Perfect for college students, teachers, retirees or anyone interested in having a fun summer experience in beautiful Saugatuck Michigan!   We are a short drive from Douglas, Holland, Zeeland, Fennville, South Haven, and many other beautiful parks and beaches! 


We have available shifts for afternoon to early evening [spend the morning on the beach]!  Spend the afternoon talking to our customers about food [everyone's favorite subject]  and our fantastic products!
