The Role: A critical member of R2i’s Experience Design capability, the Senior UI & Graphic Designer is a high energy and engaging individual who will manage creative strategy and execution for all R2i clients. The Senior Designer will play a hands-on design role working on creative solutions for R2i’s clients. They will be accountable for the overall concepting and execution of assigned projects and bringing unique design solutions to our internal team and clients. The Senior Designer will create stunning visuals in line with the client’s strategic goals and in support of business objectives. They lead R2i’s creative and CX teams in campaign brainstorming and concepting, accountable for winning creating raving client fans via creative vision storytelling and corresponding designs. They are bullish about design excellence at R2i.
The ideal candidate will be a creative thinker and storyteller with a strong background in digital design who is able to set the pace for the company’s UI and brand design offering by empowering and guiding clients and the designers. They are engaging, passionate, and strategic. They are expected to be a skilled and active listener who can translate complex business requirements into solutions that maximize ROI for clients. They should be comfortable leading a design project through full scale creative and visual branding projects, as well as working closely implementing creative and brand design across multi-channel marketing and technology projects.
Advanced knowledge of UI design best practices and methodologies are required. The right candidate will excel in all aspects of digital design, as well as supporting print media projects as needed. This candidate will work with clients and internal teams and senior leadership to translate project requirements into detailed scopes of work and project estimates. They will also demonstrate a clear ability to drive and measure customer acquisition, conversion and retention throughout the customer journey.
The right candidate will play an active role in training internal and external customers about the core principles of digital design and serve as a source of thought leadership in evolving trends, technologies and practices in usability. They will work closely with account/project management teams to uncover and understand what clients are trying to achieve creatively and work to ensure the projects are successfully and identify opportunities to gain efficiencies that will save time and budget throughout the project lifecycle.
