Findorff has an opening for a MEP Project Manager in our Madison office. As an MEP Project Manager at Findorff, you will have established vast construction knowledge in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems and their integration into the construction of buildings.
MEP Project Managers are well-rounded in the areas of Safety, Quality, Project Management, Preconstruction, Client Relationships, A/E Relationships and Strategy. They have demonstrated the ability to manage all MEP aspects of a project from start to finish. They have demonstrated the ability to work with a team as well as independently.
As the MEP PM you will successfully manage several projects of varying size and/or complexity at any one time. You will have demonstrated a commitment to community involvement, networking, business development and client relationships. Confident, articulate, and professional communication, including listening, written, interpersonal, oral and nonverbal.
Qualified candidates have excellent communication and organizational skills and be a contributing team player. A strong mathematical aptitude, as well as, strong analytical, problem-solving and mediation skills also necessary. Experience working with various software applications including Microsoft Office required. Must possess general cost awareness for MEP systems and understand systems. Prefer LEED accreditation and awareness of LEED requirements.
Minimum requirements include a Bachelor Degree or Associates Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent and a minimum 5 years of experience in the construction industry with an emphasis on building mechanical and electrical systems. Experience working with MEP design firm and general contractor is preferred..
