• Promote capabilities of company to prospective and existing customers;
• Review customer contracts, drawings, key characteristics, tolerances, notes, specifications, etc. to ensure that requirements are consistent with Lavelle's capabilities;
• Interact with Engineering, Production, Management and Customer Service personnel to address customer order requirements;
• Interact with customers to seek and develop solutions for manufacturing issues;
• Prepare, maintain and submit weekly reports to management that detail account activities and prospect updates;
• Process customer Quotes & Purchase Orders through Jobboss software system;
• Proactively identify perceived risks associated with customer orders;
• Assist President and management team with review of customer inquiries;
• Visit customers to understand unique requirements and offer solutions;
• Collaborate with management to improve marketing materials and website in order to improve the sales & marketing reach into the Medical Device industry.
• Research, attend and/or host pertinent trade shows, networking events and conferences
• Self-starter, able to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplined team;
• Excellent communication and time management skills, as well as the ability to work in a team environment;
• Ability to understand customer drawings, designs and production issues;
• Ability to handle pressure, communicate deadlines and production issues to customers;
• Understand and follow company policies that apply to one's job and maintain a high level of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to various locations necessary.
