Position Overview


Ayers Saint Gross is seeking a motivated Marketing Assistant to collaborate with a dynamic team to support the firm’s marketing and business development efforts in our Baltimore or Washington, DC office. The ideal candidate is an efficient and quick learner and an enthusiastic team player who can adjust to variety of working styles. Must be detail-oriented, organized, have excellent verbal and written skills, be a self-starter, and work both independently and in collaborative team settings.


Working closely with the marketing and business development team and firm leadership, the person who succeeds in this role will thoughtfully support marketing and business development in a variety of ways.


Responsibilities

  • Lead the production of proposals, qualifications packages, and print and digital marketing collateral
  • Assist teams with the development of client interviews/presentations
  • Provide research and support for business development efforts
  • Participate in internal client development and marketing meetings
  • Maintain and update project sheets, resumes, and databases
  • Manage calendar and promote attendance at industry events
  • Provide general administrative support for marketing and business development efforts


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the A/E/C industry
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office in a PC-environment; familiarity with Vision and Open Asset a plus
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • High level of productivity, organization, and attention to detail
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
