The Children’s Museum is seeking a Grants Officer. This position leads the Museum’s grants program and is responsible for cultivating, developing and overseeing relationships with existing foundation and government grant partners and new prospects. Duties will include working with multiple Museum departments to identify opportunities, prepare budgets, interpret program guidelines, create and submit proposals, communicate with donors, tracking expenditures, invoice, and generate narrative and financial reports. The right person for this position is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills and has proven experience in fundraising and grant management. The Museum’s next Grants Officer should be excited and motivated to work for a vibrant non-profit organization and be passionate about serving families in the Denver metro community.
Position Specifications: Full-time, 40 hours a week. Hours are typically Monday – Friday, with weekends and evenings as needed.
Supervisor: Vice President of Development and Communications
Rate: $53,000 - $55,000/year
