DCG’s Financial Analyst Department (FAD) is adding a team member to manage the expanded and ongoing automation of its core business process systems and activities. This Business Systems Manager will be responsible for collaborating with DCG’s technology group to communicate clear understanding of FAD’s business needs in support and development of existing and new technology-driven solutions utilized by DCG’s financial analytics team.
The role will focus on the development, management, and coordination of the “re-imagination” of DCG’s FAD advisory service process including, but not limited to, the refactoring of BASIS (DCG’s proprietary modeling software), data automation, process automation and third-party integrations. This position will work closely with the Executive Director of the FAD and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with DCG’s strategic vision.
The Business Systems Manager will be initially responsible for all systems and solutions, both internal and third-party, related to the FAD’s analytics activities in support of DCG’s consulting services with the potential to expand scope by working with other DCG departments.
This candidate will work in DCG’s Agile environment and continuously review and prioritize the detailed project backlogs, outline technology milestones, and help identify opportunities and/or development risks. In addition, this candidate will create wireframes, prototypes, and user stories with best-practice design thinking to communicate ideas to all stakeholders.
This candidate should have experience automating process workflow through the development and/or management of business systems/application. A strong understanding of the banking industry, data, financial modeling, analysis, and reporting is preferred. The ideal candidate has strong organizational and interpersonal skills, individual initiative, personal accountability, attention to detail, and a keen interest in leveraging technology to streamline process and workflow while adding value to all stakeholders.
