This is a special position for an Electro-Optical (EO)/Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) phenomenology expert that can serve as the Tech Lead / Principal Investigator (PI) of several exciting efforts and grow our EO/OPIR portfolio. This position, based in either Valley Forge, PA or Aurora, CO, requires extensive experience in modeling and simulation of EO/OPIR imagery, developing image processing chains for remote sensing platforms, and mentoring a team of passionate engineers/scientists.

The annual base salary range for this position is $120K - $205K. Please note that the salary range is a general guideline only. The many factors that are included for consideration include, but are not limited to, scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education, training, certifications, key skills, and mission/customer intimacy. These factors are combined with market and business considerations to extend a job offer.

Our ideal candidate is an EO/OPIR expert who has extensive experience in the modeling and simulation of EO/IR images, designing and implementing EO/IR image processing chains, leading diverse teams, and proposing new technical solutions to the government. This candidate will shape our EO/IR domain presence, interfacing with customers, and mentoring our team of software developers and research scientists in image processing.
