Responsible for evaluating our needs and current practices and creating and delivering a training development plan complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The senior generalist will be a confident public speaker and a devoted educator who is up-to-date on the latest tools and resources needed to improve employee training and performance. The trainer will also be responsible for researching and selecting the best platform to deliver and utilize training materials. This role will assist the Director in special projects and other duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or business; PHR or SPHR certification preferred. Upon employment, must pursue continuing education and/or in-service training as required for this job position.
Must be experienced in services to children and families, and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in developing, implementing and managing HR programs, benefit contract negotiations, compensation programs, familiarity with governmental regulations and complex organizational structures, as well as training and development.
Must hold a valid driver’s license, have and maintain a risk-free driving record. Must be willing to undergo initial and periodic child abuse/neglect, criminal history, sexual offender, and child care/elder care disqualification list screenings. As requested, must submit fingerprints for review by the state of your employment and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). Must undergo a pre-employment drug screen and a pre-employment physical with the results showing no evidence of communicable disease.
