In this role, you will perform senior level Human Resources Generalist responsibilities and provide guidance to the Human Resources Generalists.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for full cycle recruitment process. Ensures that each candidate has a positive experience with the application process and that hiring managers are satisfied with the results.
Manages applicant tracking system and ensures information is well organized and disposition of candidates is up to date.
Manages the Affirmative Action Plan and ensures that it is completed each year. Coordinates and documents affirmative action outreach activities.
Manage the Paylocity performance management system. The process needs to be finalized in the system so that we will be able to train employees on the use of it and implement the process before the end of this year.
Assists with the management of employee relations issues.
Assists managers with Individual Development Plans for their teams, the development and the implementation of the plans.
Manages HR processes and ensures that they are being followed.
Proposes and implements improvements in HR processes such as: employee development, timekeeping, onboarding, benefits enrollment, performance management, recruitment, employee activities and training.
Payroll and benefits administration back up, as well as assisting with payroll and benefits administration on an as needed basis.
Completes compensation surveys, reviews compensation survey data and makes recommendations regarding annual adjustments to employee compensation.
A college degree is strongly preferred.
Prior human resources experience of at least 3 years.
Experience working with Paylocity or a similar system.
The person in this role must also understand the criticality of maintaining confidentiality in all areas, the need to provide HR services to all employees and potential employees with dignity and respect, and be knowledgeable of employment laws such that they can respond to questions, and know how to act accordingly on issues.
The other critical area is being able to complete tasks with high accuracy and completeness. This is important with assisting the management of payroll tasks, benefits administration and responding to employee inquiries.
Language Skills: Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Good basic grammar and spelling skills strongly desired.
Ability to work independently and with self-initiative.
Ability to manage multiple projects and have organization and planning skills, since interruptions are frequent, and many deadlines are critical. History of high accuracy and timeliness with completion of projects.
Past history of being fully engaged in maintaining and improving a positive, high energy company culture.
