JOB DESCRIPTION

The Streetsense Hospitality Industry Leader is responsible for advising our portfolio of hospitality clients and representing Streetsense as the key hospitality subject matter expert, thought leader and principal in charge of delivering world class work. This includes the development and execution of a strategic plan to drive growth that is aligned with corporate goals and market opportunities. The Industry Leader will work closely with the Hospitality Client Experience Director, Director of Eat & Drink, and various subject matter experts across teams to ensure all relationships and projects are in a positive & healthy place. 

The Industry Leader will also work closely with the Growth Operations team to ensure all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and non-financial goals are met, CRM data is accurate, and the contract process is smooth. The Industry Leader will also work with the Head of Marketing and Internal Marketing teams to develop a marketing and thought leadership plan designed to generate sales leads and build brand awareness for the company and its expertise in the Hospitality Industry.


The Industry Leader will also serve as the executive leader on projects and be a billable consultant or SME on projects depending on his/her experience and the complexity of the project or client expectation. 


Top 4 Key Areas of Responsibility, Hospitality Leader 


Hospitality Consulting 

  • Provide strategic hospitality consulting to owners and brand leaders for public space development, build outs and overall hotel programming
  • Advise clients on the positioning of new hotel developments & redevelopments
  • Advise clients on soft and boutique brands
  • P&L Development and analysis for hospitality projects
  • Resort F&B programming and positioning

Hospitality Food & Beverage Strategic Lead 

  • Provide strategy and positioning expertise for the Eat+Drink team 
  • Provide conceptual and design direction for Eat+Drink projects
  • Provide consulting strategy and direction to the Eat+Drink team as to client approach and project pull through

Thought Leadership

  • Helped create a steady stream of thought leadership pieces to drive brand awareness
  • Press Liaison relating to F&B and Hospitality

Sales & Client Management

  • Partners with the CX Director on the development and implementation of the client’s strategy for our hospitality client base
  • Works with CX Director on QBR’s
  • Works with CX Director on client growth & retention strategy
  • Leads RFP and proposal strategy to win new work
  • Leads contract management and onboarding to teams for a successful transition from sales to onboarding work
Requirements

We are open to candidates in DC, NYC + LA and/or those willing to relocate. 

  • 10+ years experience in Hospitality advisory and consulting or related field
  • Strong business development skills and extensive, active network in the field 
  • Proven P & L management / responsibility experience
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Strong technology acumen and organizational development experience
  • Proven organizational change agent and process management expert 
  • Someone who owns the results vs. the tasks
