The Verato Senior Scrum Master will oversee one or more development scrum teams. He/she will be responsible for coaching, mentoring, and developing his/her team members in the Agile methodology and scrum and act as the buffer between the scrum team and the product owner.
He/she will guide one or more scrum teams with responsibilities including but not limited to, ensuring the team is focused, requirements are clear, blockers are removed, estimates and planning is done accurately, and deadlines are met. He/she will monitor the scrum processes and facilitate scrum meetings. Additionally, the scrum master will be required to work with the product owner and the team to drive priorities, requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical decisions for both Development and DevOps as well as provide guidance on scrum methodology, scrum processes and on software development in general.
The Senior Scrum Master will have a primary focus on delivering value to our customers but will also be expected to understand and help advocate for adoption of new technologies and processes aimed at optimizing our operations and continuously enhancing our security and compliance postures.
