IT Support Technician

This person will also cross train to perform database reporting on an as needed basis.


Qualified candidates will...

  • Provide support and help desk assistance to all locations and divisions, including working trouble tickets and live support calls.
  • Maintain PC’s, laptops and mobile devices including spyware/adware/virus removal, hardware upgrades, software installations, tracking and re-allocating inventory.
  • Assist in database reporting for applications and have a thorough understanding of Crystal reports for database analysis.
  • Coordinate moves and reconnect computer equipment.
  • Monitor and test backups to ensure recoverability
  • Updating and creating technical documentation as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements

Qualification Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of previous IT experience in a business environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to locations within 120 miles of Louisville – travel less than 10%
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Barracuda appliances, corporate Antivirus applications, Terminal Services, Group Policy, Active Directory administration, Win2K3/2K8/2K12 server, Win7/Win10 workstation support and A+/Net+ level technical support
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Experience with database reporting, preferably with Crystal Reports
  • Technical customer service and support experience a plus
  • 2-4 year technical or college degree preferred
