Summary
The Pradera Director is responsible for overseeing the day to day operations of the various Pradera programs, specifically managing supervisors and other staff as assigned; supporting the development of program policies and procedures as needed; assuring that workers, case managers and supervisors complete all assigned documentation; assuring that work is assigned in a timely manner; assuring that all staff attend necessary training as required or needed; and reporting to Pradera Administrator and the Department of Human Services (DHS) as requested.
Job Responsibilities
· Provide direct supervision for the supervisors, properly documenting regular supervision
· Ensure that all staff and supervisors meet annual training requirements
· Ensure that all supervisors are providing necessary support to staff and clients
· Manage caseloads, performance and corrective action of staff and supervisors
· Manage Pradera Resource Homes and case management services and establish policies for the program operations
· Monitor to ensure agency is in compliance with all DHS performance and state compliance standards
· Ensure that all case files are in accordance with the responsibilities and qualifications of the program as per the agency, county and state regulations
· Conduct regularly scheduled meetings and randomly review, cases and casework, to ensure that quality services are delivered in compliance with program’s timelines and guidelines
· Provide supervision to workers as needed in absence of supervisors
· Ensure that necessary data is collected and utilized in program development and improvement activities
· Work closely with Compliance Coordinator to ensure an integrated and coordinated approach to the delivery of services
· Ensure staff compliance with sharing information with the DHS and Community Umbrella Agencies (CUA) and incorporation into Single Case Plans (SCP) and Individual Case Plans (ICP)
· Be on-call to handle emergencies that may arise
· Participate in supervisory meetings with Pradera Administrator and maintain ongoing communication to ensure emergencies, critical incidents and program concerns are addressed in a timely manner
· Build and maintain relationships with CUA, County and State representatives
· Participate in recruitment efforts and presentations in the community on behalf of the program, during business, after hours, and weekends as needed
· Attend networking/information meetings, as appropriate or in the absence of the Pradera Administrator
· Other duties as assigned to support the mission of Asociacion Puertorriquenos en Marcha

Qualifications
· Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field
· Minimum of two years of experience in supervisor capacity in child welfare and/or behavioral health setting
· Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearances, Pennsylvania Criminal Record Clearance, Federal Bureau Investigation (FBI), Valid PA driver’s license.
· Preferably knowledge of Pa Chapter 3700
· Computer savvy, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Ability to direct and delegate duties

· Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
· Ability to use a positive, strengths-based approach in working with families
· Ability to work cooperatively as a team member
