Reporting to the Director of Accounting, you will assist in recording acquisitions, support the month end close activities including assessing the implications of new accounting guidance, preparing reconciliations and assist in the preparation of the company’s consolidated financial statements. You will work and help direct our offshore accounting team members and work closely with our operational team.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
o Supervise and assist in the preparation of the revenue and AR support files prepared by the offshore team, research any discrepancies, and analyze changes and trends in revenue and AR balances.
o Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations that will comply with audit and tax requirements.
o Review the payroll calculation prepared by our offshore team to ensure it aligns with the dentist commission agreements.
o Support the integration of newly acquired practices into the accounting infrastructure of the company.
o Leverage Excel tools to streamline and simplify reconciliation schedules, management financial statements and other analyses.
o Assist in managing the annual audit.
