Who We Are:
We are a software development and IT consulting firm who knock the socks off our clients. We work closely with organizations to develop creative and custom software solutions so they can focus on what’s most important, their mission. Here at KL&A, we love what we do and believe that our employees are our greatest asset which is why we search for the best and brightest (and perhaps the most caffeinated) of the bunch. And we don’t mean to brag, but we’re honored to have been named a Top Workplace by the Detroit Free Press for the third year in a row.
Who You Are:
You live and breathe technology. You love working with innovative technologies and learning something new every day. You enjoy collaborating with those around you, but can also accomplish tasks as a solo artist. Your creative and open mindset allows you to develop unique solutions for a wide variety of challenges, and your attention to detail is so good it’s scary. Continuous learning is important to you, so you stay up-to-date on the latest technologies available. You’re personable, self-motivated, and love lending a hand to your colleagues. You may also enjoy a retro board game battle or joking around with your peers while you enjoy a freshly brewed cup of joe.
About the Role:
As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be a key part of software development teams and responsible for software/platform infrastructure deployment. You’ll work closely with fellow engineers to set up development environments and build virtual servers. You will be empowered to make effective decisions and take accountability for projects at the core of the company, and manage patching and updates while maintaining a high availability environment. You will be responsible for implementing, supporting, and configuring clients’ business application environments. You will study operations, including designing, developing, and installing software solutions, as well as supporting and managing the technical tasks for the development teams. You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and deploying tools to automate management of systems and services.
