Position Overview: The Operations Coordinator will work in a matrix environment, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, while providing in depth operational support to the Programs Team. The Operations Coordinator will have their own areas of responsibility, but this position will work in close partnership with the Program Coordinator to create excellent customer service experiences for our school partners and SELF program team members. This role will also provide internal operations support for the organization and work on other projects as needed.
Specifically, this role will:
Fulfill work plans: Proactively plan for events, requisition and inventory materials and supplies, and keep other team members abreast of their progress.
Run event logistics: SELF is conducting some professional development sessions virtually via Zoom, and others are happening in-person (following high safety protocols and standards). For each virtual event, the Operations Coordinator will ensure the tech, related apps and security measures are in place and working properly. For in-person events, the Operations Coordinator will provide the leg work to ensure space setup and breakdown happen efficiently.
Special projects: SELF is a collaborative and dynamic team. The Operations Coordinator will provide support for general front office management, data collection, vendor communication, and other special projects as needed.

Location: The SELF team is largely remote due to Covid-19 but the Operations Coordinator will be required to come into the office and/or attend in-person meetings, with safety precautions in place.
Manager Relationship: The Operations Coordinator will report to the Chief Operating Officer.
