Technical Account Manager (TAM)

The ideal candidate will have in-depth implementation, consulting and/or support experience with SaaS and Call Center Solutions. 

What you will do:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor by building and maintaining post-sale relationships with MindTouch customers
  • Tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience
  • Manage a client portfolio of highly customized deployments by providing technical, product, and business knowledge
  • Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed plans based on client need and sustainable MindTouch implementation practices
  • Support the customer in identifying and documenting technical value in their deployment of MindTouch 
  • Function as a frontline technical resource for “best practices” and informal customer questions
  • Take initiatives in identifying growth opportunities
  • Utilize problem solving skills to address technically focused customer escalation and proactively form solutions aligned with a client’s vision
  • Analyze customers’ needs and suggest upgrades or additional features to meet their requirements

  • 3-5 years in a Technical/Service role in software, telecommunications or in customer service, call/contact center and/or service delivery
  • Demonstrated technical problem solving proficiency
  • Strong skills in project and client management
  • B.A./B.S. or equivalent experience
  • Willingness to travel

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 60% of the time
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access cabinets, office machinery, etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a printer and copier
  • Must be able to repetitively type on a computer keyboard daily during a work shift of 8 hours.
  • The person in this position frequently communicates with fellow co-workers and customers about the MindTouch product and its processes. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
