Building Automation Engineering Intern (Ref #1820-G)
Description

  Toyon is seeking a highly capable and motivated student intern in the field of Building Automation Systems to work under the direction of senior engineering staff in our Sterling, Virginia office. The Building Automation Engineering Intern will support panel fabrication, configuration, programming, and test of state-of-the-art automation systems components, including programmable logic controllers (PLC), direct digital control (DDC), supervisor control and data acquisition (SCADA), discrete I/O, and touch panel interface equipment.  


Candidates must have completed at least their second year of a BS program in a related field, with coursework in automation systems, programming, and/or HVAC digital control. This position requires basic proficiency with information technology equipment configuration and programming. For a top-performing candidate, the summer internship may be extended to part-time during final year of school or co-op program.

  • Experience testing or troubleshooting electrical  equipment

U.S. Citizenship Required. Ability to qualify for a US Department of Defense security clearance required.
