Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco’s has begun a bold campaign that will enable us to increase our impact in Marin, San Francisco and the Peninsula. This campaign will raise a total of $40 million over the next four years to revitalize local neighborhoods, address the critical need to house our Bay Area workforce, and bring financial stability to thousands of local working families.


Reporting to the Senior Director of Development, Habitat for Humanity Greater San Francisco is seeking a qualified candidate to reach out to the Bay Area’s faith community to fundraise, recruit volunteers, and educate faith-based partners about the goals, programs, and mission of HHGSF. This includes, building and repairing homes, and revitalizing neighborhoods in Marin, San Francisco, and San Mateo counties. You will be a leader in a movement to encourage congregations to put faith into action.

Requirements

Campaign Oversight and Integration


  • Research and strategize ways to engage new communities as well as identifying new faith-based partners.
  • Solicitation of faith-based partners for $1,000 gifts and higher.
  • Stewardship of faith-based partners.
  • Develop strategies to build and maintain faith community partnerships, including the maintenance of all current partnerships and building new relationships with diverse faith congregations and forming coalitions to support Habitat home building and other program services.
  • Develop relationships with clergy, denominational leadership and volunteer faith committees to expand the capacity of the Faith Relations program.
  • Create and maintain marketing materials and partnership tools.
  • Plan and coordinate annual faith-based events and build days.
  • Provide leadership to faith-based coalitions and other faith-based committees.
  • Serve as primary spokesperson for faith-based events and other speaking engagements.
  • Develop stewardship, recognition, and retention strategies to sustain a growing portfolio of active partners.
  • Coordinate scheduling and work closely with Volunteer Services staff to ensure faith partners are informed about volunteer opportunities and enjoy their on-site experience.
  • Monitor and follow up with faith partners on their fundraising progress.
  • Travel frequently within the service area to visit faith partners and prospective faith partners.
  • Organize, plan, and attend kickoff ceremonies, home dedications and event functions.
  • Meet annual performance goals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
