MLG Capital is an industry leading commercial real estate investment firm seeking an entrepreneurial and energetic Data Engineer to play a significant role in the transformation of company databases, intelligence and creating data warehouse ecosystems/designs. This candidate will have the opportunity to join a high growth company and be at the ground floor of the redevelopment of MLG Capital’s data infrastructure. This individual will be responsible for shaping the future of our data infrastructure in close collaboration with the Senior Leadership team and established Data Committee, serving a wide range of business needs with internal teams ranging across the organization.
This is a high impact and exciting position that will lead to the future development and support for internally created platforms used by multiple business lines of MLG Capital. This individual will extensively utilize their data warehouse/modeling, ETL design and procedural and data analysis skills to lead the development of the database into scalable and performant cross-business unit analytics platform. This role requires identifying and understanding key issues, strong analytical thinking, the ability to conduct quantitative analysis and develop conclusions based on analysis/research.
This position involves the delivery of large data integration projects and would therefore require leveraging best practices expertise and experience at implementation, as well as effective technology know-how. The individual holding this position must be able to perform various complex assignments without much supervision; and must be able to carry out training and active collaboration for internal Data Committee. The ideal candidate for this role is a strong collaborator, able to incorporate input from stakeholders in multiple business lines, well-organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
