The Verato Information Development Lead will lead Verato’s Information business scrum team. More than a pure Scrum Master or technical lead role, he/she will be responsible for working with the Product Owner to translate customer requirements and/or contracts into actionable epics, stories, and tasks. He/she will be also be responsible for leading the scrum team, including, but not limited to, ensuring the team is focused, requirements are clear, blockers are removed, estimates and planning is done accurately, and deadlines are met. Additionally, the Development Lead will be required to work with the team to steer technical decisions for both Development and DevOps as well as provide guidance on scrum methodology, scrum processes and on software development in general.
The Development Lead will be expected to fill the Scrum Master role while taking on broader responsibilities in terms of mentoring, technical direction setting, and decision making. In order to do this, he/she will need to be well versed in scrum, have excellent organizational and communication skills, and have adequate technical depth.
The Verato Information Development Lead is expected to cultivate a philosophy of continuous improvement. He/she will have a primary focus on delivering value to our customers but will also be expected to advocate for adoption of new technologies and processes aimed at optimizing our operations and continuously enhancing our security and compliance postures.
