Hilltop is seeking a Recruiting Associate to add to our growing team and assist with all aspects of the recruiting process and new hire experience. The right person would embrace and continue enhancing our current recruiting and interviewing processes and will be key in sourcing great talent for our growing Hilltop teams.

Job Responsibilities

· Source candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline

· Screen candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications, and performing phone screenings

· Design and manage job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements

· Perform reference checks

· Facilitate the offer process by extending and discussing offers

· Manage onboarding and new hire process

· Stay abreast of recruiting trends, methods, and best practices

· Manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process

· Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

· Track and analysis hiring success, turnover and job sourcing results

· Track recruitment costs and effectiveness

· Perform market and compensation research and analysis

Requirements

  

· 2+ years of recruiting experience strongly preferred

· Property Management experience strongly preferred

· Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred

· Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

· Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust

· Excellent organizational, time management and strategic planning skills

· Comfortable making decisions independently

· Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems

· Proficient in Microsoft Office

· Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods

· Understanding of employment laws and regulations 

· Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues

· Ability to assist in building and strengthening company's employer branding strategy

· Experience in content creation (text, image and video)


This position reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and will office out of our Corporate Office located at 9 Greenway Plaza in Houston, TX.
