General Position Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing direct mail, digital, affiliate, email, and other types of campaigns for credit card customer acquisition. This position is also responsible for supporting new and existing products and services across all Vervent business lines.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Increase lead flow for all direct-to-consumer credit card brands and all future products and divisions.
  • Execute the development, performance and measurement of email, digital, direct mail, affiliate, in-market, remarketing, and paid search campaigns.
  • Diligently and consistently maintain each brand’s individual standards and Vervent corporate brand standards.
  • Coordinate program updates across marketing channels and ensure marketing compliance with audit or regulatory requirements.
  • Use data to drive recommendations and focus on repeatable results.
  • Execute reporting and utilize competitive insights, consumer trends and research to make audience, acquisition, and product recommendations.
  • Provide direction to internal partners, outside agencies, developers and designers of creative assets, websites, landing pages and marketing materials.
  • Create and proofread communications to increase activation, accuracy, utilization, and retention.
  • Manage creative and compliance approvals of all creative assets for respective channels.
  • Develop and manage project budgets and track performance.
  • Support the research, development, implementation and testing of financial products, marketing campaigns and services.
Requirements
  • Bachelors in Marketing, Communication, Business Management or related field and 2-4 years of hands-on marketing experience.
  • 1+ years of experience in credit card, banking or financial marketing.
  • Experience in developing and running marketing campaigns.
  • Strong project management and analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable marketing efforts.
  • Superior organizational skills, cross-team collaboration, and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working with Google AdWords & Analytics, non-branded analytics systems, WordPress, Microsoft Office, social media platforms, and general content management systems.

Physical Requirements:


The work is of an intellectual nature. While performing the functions of this job, the employee is required to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Specific vision abilities required include close and medium distance vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to hear normal sounds, distinguish sound as voice and communicate through human speech. This position requires the ability to operate a keyboard, computer mouse, telephone, fax, copier, writing tools, and other standard office equipment. On an occasion, an employee will be asked to lift items weighing up to 35 lbs.
