NJI is a wildly creative and strategically disciplined agency with offices in London, Washington, D.C., and Singapore. We work seamlessly across teams and time zones to align and deliver for our clients.
We are looking for an Editor/Copyeditor to join our team and help us with multifaceted projects and programs, many with extensive design deliverables, for a range of clients.
You are a creative problem solver and passionate about telling stories that make the technical and abstract authentic and relatable for brand audiences. You're both an adept writer and a stickler for quality, style and consistency. You are comfortable working with content across all mediums — digital, print, social, video, the next new thing. You are an exceptional and precise editor that finds the tiniest of errors and can rally through pages of proofing. There may be a “Grammarian of the Year” trophy on your shelf and you understand the value of a well-placed Oxford comma.
You have a high level of craft in all facets of your writing, from short to long form. You enjoy storytelling and infusing life and value into your work for the target audience. But you can also switch hats easily to line edit as well as run point on quality assurance.
You enjoy work that stretches your capabilities. At times, the hours can be unpredictable, requiring you to wake up to support colleagues or clients on the other side of the world, or to facilitate a last-minute request on a Friday afternoon. The payoff? You will work with a fun and talented team, and have many opportunities to learn new skills and grow.
The Editor/Copyeditor supports important client relationships, ensures the highest quality of deliverables, including data- and fact-checking, and brings structure and dedication to the work every day.
Authenticity is the foundation of boundless creativity. Rooted in diverse life experience, our team challenges the status quo through our work and culture every day. We are committed to sustaining and improving NJI's inclusive workplace through actively expanding the diversity of our team. We encourage people from underrepresented groups to apply. If you require accommodations or assistance during the application process, please contact email@example.com.
We are unable to offer work visa sponsorship at this time.
