The Compliance Coordinator is an entry level role that serves as a research specialist for select databases used to  conduct criminal record searches. This role requires integrity and dependability; this role handles extremely  sensitive information and an ethical disposition is mandatory. You must possess a high attention to detail and be  willing to adapt to ongoing regulation changes and updates. 


 Performs criminal record searches via select databases and county court sites  • Sort and review criminal records to determine reportability while adhering to company and FCRA  reportability guidelines  • Analyze data appropriately while following strictly compliance procedures and quality standards  • Learn, process and retain complex information related to background screening  • Prepare accurate and grammatically correct reports summarizing the data collected from research  • Handle personal identifying information confidently and responsibly • Maintain daily performance level that meets or exceeds the establish goal for the department • Protect company, applicant and customer information in accordance with company policy and procedure • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements

 High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills to build relationships  • Experience with researching public information on the web; ability to navigate between multiple windows • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment  • Experience working with sensitive data and keeping confidential information confidential  • Strong Computer Literacy & excellent systems knowledge  • Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel • Type a minimum of 30 WPM  • Positive attitude with a self-driven sense of urgency 


Monday - Friday 7:30am-4:00pm

Hourly rate: $18/hr
