Project Description

The Cincinnati Metropolitan Housing Authority has commissioned ArtWorks to create a mural for the apartment building located at 2610 Park Avenue. The design will be painted on parachute cloth in our studio space located at Carl Solway. It will then be installed on the Eastern Façade of the building. Artist Taron Jordan will create the design, which will take inspiration from African Textile Art. A team of eight Public Art Apprentices will be led by two Teaching Artists to execute the work of art.
