Summary: 

If you are a Senior Product Designer looking for the opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a corporate startup with a well established team and several large, respected clients, DexCare is the organization for you!  Our product team is a small multi-disciplinary group responsible for evolving our customers’ experience and product design based on user focused needs and industry research. In this role, you are responsible for owning and driving the design process for the products you impact, creating user flows, wireframes, and interface mockups and prototypes. We are looking for someone who can work closely with the entire engineering, product, and design teams to define new features that span the whole product line. You will be expected to help drive the roadmap and how our clients build-out their lines of business using our products, taking advantage of your full skillset; product, interaction, visual, and research.


Details of the important work you will contribute: 

  • Take initiative on features and product decisions in partnership with product management, engineering, and strategy 
  • The ability to take a broad idea or flow and be able to prove it out with design process and conceptualize it into our product 
  • Design end to end flows and experiences across multiple formats (web, desktop, and mobile) that fit together cohesively 
  • Define, craft, and evolve designs within visual systems and standards 
  • Proactively solicit feedback from the product team and engineering in order to maintain quality and design cohesion 

What you will need to be able to do in order to be successful here: 

  • 5+ years of experience building and shipping applications or software where you have owned a feature/product that encompassed end to end experience across two or more platforms 
  • Experience using interaction design to define how an experience should guide the user through outcomes 
  • Visual design proficiency in correct usage of typography, desktop, mobile UI, color, layout, iconography and a practical understanding of how aesthetics can impact product and user harmony 
  • Experience leading a product’s direction, strategic thinking into the future of the product goals, identifying opportunities, and making decisions within a multidisciplinary team

Compensation, Benefits, and Rewards

Base Salary = Competitive, not high or low, and no signing bonus tricks

Bonus = 20% of Base Salary. Our philosophy one for all and all for one, except for Sales because they get commissions, sorry Sales. We set achievable goals, not stretch, because our we don’t intend to run a bonus program that never pays. We all know how fun those are.


Our Interview Process

Dexcare doesn’t like to keep anyone waiting and we know you have lots of great options. Therefore, our aim is to complete the entire interview process with within a week. It doesn’t happen every time, but it rarely, if ever, takes longer than two weeks and sometimes it only takes two days. We make decisions fast and know what we are looking for.
