POSITION SUMMARY: The community outreach liaison is responsible for promoting our Independent and Assisted Living communities for seniors and generating new referrals for 75 State Street by building and maintaining relationships with company resources in all service areas (nursing homes, rehabilitation centers, senior centers, hospitals, adult daycare, hospice, elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, etc.). The position supports business development by participating in community marketing activities and working to establish strong relationships with new and existing referral sources.

Salary:  $46,000-$56,000 annually


  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with the key staff at referring facilities /agencies. 
  • Responsible for acquiring and managing key facility accounts to secure new referrals of prospective residents to our community.  
  • Meet with facility referral contacts at least monthly to discuss their priorities and how we can assist them.       
  • Participate in all senior care and other networking events in our community to represent and promote our services.  This may require attending evening and weekend events.
  • Plan a referral event on site at 75 State Street quarterly. 
  • Respond immediately to all inquiries from facilities and senior care professionals regarding a referral.
  • Maintain ongoing communication and a consistent follow-up with all the facilities’ senior care professionals regarding potential clients and families who have yet to move in.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with the facilities about each referral client to encourage additional referrals 
  • Help to educate prospective residents and families about the benefits of senior living.
  • Provide weekly updates of activities to Director of Marketing.
  • Weekly Activities:  Each week Sales Rep / Community Liaison to visit multiple accounts and record results and activities in Point Click Care. 
  • In – Services:  It should be a goal to have a least (2) “In-Services” per month to a referring agency in different locations promoting 75 State Street.
  • Cover inside sales in the absence of the sales director and during peak times (typically fall and spring) to support tour conversations. 
  • Trade Shows and Conferences:  This position requires attending and assisting with all trade shows and conferences that are agreed upon by the marketing team.
  • Assist with marketing strategies, budgeting, and event planning by developing various elements essential for the growth of 75 State Street. 


  • Participate on committees as assigned.
  • Participate in relevant community meetings.
  • Support data collection for our quarterly CMA.

  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field 
  • Competency in Microsoft Office and CRM data base
  • Proficient in making presentations to small and large groups
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work occasionally outside of traditional business hours including weekends
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to relate effectively to individuals with diverse backgrounds, abilities, preferences, and needs. Excellent interpersonal skills; able to work independently and as part of a team.
