Overall responsibilities:

Responsible for the leadership and management of the direct sales team covering the Analytics and Talent business. Provides input on the strategic direction for the overall Sales Organization. 


Essential Functions:

  • Actively participate as a member of the sales leadership team in establishing strategic plans to achieve organizational sales goals and objectives.
  • Directs the activities of the direct sales team and provides leadership for our sales efforts.
  • Provides leadership guidance to drive new sales, relationship management and retention of current accounts.
  • Ensure that the team meets or exceeds monthly, quarterly and annual assigned sales goals.
  • Recruit, select, coach and train a high-performance sales team that meets or exceeds individual and overall organizational sales goals.
  • Working with the rest of the Sales leadership team, participate in the development of annual sales plans, campaigns and goals that are aligned with overall organizational goals. Work closely with marketing on lead generation and marketing campaign activities.
  • Prepare monthly reporting of key accomplishments and challenges including individual and organizational sales performance. Monitor year to date performance and prepare balance of year forecasts. Participate in preparing sales focused sections of the Board package.
  • Develop and implement sales policies and procedures as needed.
  • Articulate technical benefits of Trellance’s products, solutions and services, as needed.
  • Develop product expertise needed to technically differentiate from and position against competition.
  • Communicate any product or service issues to senior management.
  • Represent Trellance at client presentations/meetings, tradeshows, conferences, board meetings and other opportunities as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) from an accredited college or university plus a minimum of ten (10) years experience in the specific or related field.  Prior sales management  experience preferred.  


Company / Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of credit union or financial services industry preferred. Possess significant contacts/relationships with senior management at credit unions.  Knowledge of technology, analytics and/or consulting services firms a plus.
