Prevailance is seeking an experienced, mission-focused professional to support The Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC) in Dahlgren, Virginia as a Training System Specialist. The Surface Combat Systems' Training Command (SCSTC) domain consists of the Command Staff located in Newport, RI, SCSTC Units, Sites, and Detachments worldwide. Training locations also include Shipyards, Fleet Surface Ships and Forward Deployed Naval Forces (FDNF). Services to be provided consist of Systems Engineering and Training Analysis services in support of the following areas: Manpower and Personnel, Infrastructure, Functional Integration Management (FIM), Training Management, Documentation, Training Systems Acquisition and Lifecycle, and International Programs (IP). Support will also be provided to the Japanese Maritime Self Defense Force, Spanish, South Korea, Norwegian, Australian, Singapore Foreign Military Sales and future IP Initiatives. 

The Training System Specialist is responsible for assisting in the development of requirements and strategies for implementing training solutions through analysis of Navy Training Systems Plans Front End Analysis (FEA) and Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) products and processes. The Training System Specialist also evaluates training requirements to assist in proper implementation of training required as a result of new system introduction and changes to existing combat system elements, both for USN and FMS.

• Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in reviewing training schedules, Navy Training System Plans, Planning Process Methodology documents, and the Navy Enlisted Occupational Classification System
• Must have knowledge of the Navy’s Business Case Analysis (BCA), Front End Analysis (FEA), Job Duty Task Analysis (JDTA) in the development of curriculum
• Must have demonstrated experience in the analyses of change recommendations and determination of impact on system readiness and user functionality pertaining to USN systems
