Description
UW Provision is a family-owned regional distributor of meat products since 1958. We have two locations in Middleton and Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. UW Provision is seeking a delivery drivers that are reliable and can provide excellent customer service to our customers. This position dispatches our drivers from our Middleton Location. UW Provision offers scheduling flexibility and the opportunity to be home every night.
- Full-Time employment or part-time employment
- Compensation: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour (depending on CDL)
- Monday - Friday with rotational Saturday route (every 6th or 7th Saturday)
- Home every night, overnights are optional
- Monthly driver bonuses include: Pallet bonus, and weight bonus
- $500 retention bonus guaranteed after completing 6 and 12-month tenure
Job Responsibility
- Making on-time deliveries to job sites while adhering to all safety procedures
- Staying up to date with DOT policies and procedures
- Performing routine inspection on vehicles and supplied to ensure road safety
- Determine action to be taken to eliminate hazards to life and property
- Pulling orders to match daily manifest
- Communicating with other departments on deliveries as needed
Requirements
Job Qualifications
- CDL A or B (required)
- No major accidents within the past three years
- An acceptable driving record is required
