RIOS is an international design collective. We are actively in pursuit of wonder within the design of the built environment. We believe design is an act of optimism through which invention and ideas change the world. We practice interconnected design across architecture, placemaking, and landscape architecture to define design as a continuum.

We are seeking an Senior Project Designer to assist and develop appropriate design solutions on multiple projects. Interested applicants must have a strong design aesthetic, enjoy creating beautiful work and be able to work collaboratively and independently.


The ideal candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Guides, mentors & maintains project milestones and deliverables in a timely manner throughout the life of the project.
  • Thorough comprehension of BIM workflow. 
  • Proficiency developing project specifications 
  • Demonstrated experience completing projects through construction
  • Successful development and oversight of design documentation. For example: Schematic, design development and construction      documentation. 
  • Aptitude for using production and design tools (current examples include LandFX, Lumion, Adobe Creative Suite). 
  • Prepare basis of design & specifications; oversee product research & material selection.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5-8+ years of professional experience
  • Bachelor of Architecture degree or Master's of Architecture degree from an accredited college or university
  • Experience with Autocad, Rhino, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and REVIT
