Description

The Client Marketing Manager is charged with servicing and growing relationships with new and existing partners. They will lead and manage their team to ensure high client and customer satisfaction, work quality and overall profitability. Responsibilities include efficiently managing direct mail marketing campaigns, operational workflow and partner expectations. In addition, the Client Marketing Manager provides direction, leadership and professional development for their direct reports.  This position will report to the Sr. Marketing Manager of Client Services. 


Responsibilities

  • Partner with and build strong relationships with Sales, Account Management, other internal departments as well as our broker networks to deliver annual revenue and profitability targets through direct marketing campaigns
  • Establish and build strong relationships with both current and new partners in order to maximize future marketing opportunities
  • Lead and manage a team of direct reports to ensure all facets of marketing production while driving to our metrics of operational excellence. Ensure operational oversight and accountability across internal teams
  • Identify and manage project dependencies that could impact marketing production
  • Serve as a catalyst for escalated communications among sales and other internal departments
  • Support strategic client planning
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of processes
  • Lead solution development efforts that best address partner needs while balancing the investment of company resources
  • Recruit, hire and on-board new associates
  • Promote a positive work environment that fosters the development of the team and individuals
  • Develop as a thought leader, advisor, and problem solver in evaluating performance and volume trends. Develop and present recommended action plans
Requirements
  • 4-year college degree with business or marketing emphasis
  • 5 to 7 years prior experience in related field (Account Management, Direct Marketing and/or banking experience a plus)
  • Proven success in managing and building a team
  • Strong interpersonal and consulting skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, comfortable presenting to external client and Sr. Management
  • Must be able to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment, as a team member and independently
  • Detail oriented, excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Leader, independent thinker, problem solver, decision maker.
  • Ability to negotiate with internal and external partners
  • Demonstrated experience of Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of Financial Services or Insurance business lines
