Job Summary


The Massage Therapists at The Springs Resort & Spa are to ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction through the thoughtful administration of Spa treatments. Each member of the Springs Team will outwardly display actions that embody The Springs Mission Statement: “We exist to deliver a unique, caring experience that creates memories and relaxation for each of our guests. Key Responsibilities:

· Report to work on time and in professional attire in accordance with company policy

· Must maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance.

· Understand and comply with all company policies and procedures pertaining to this position, the required duties as well as department requirements.

· Stay up to date with the latest Spa Trends

· Must be extremely dependable with a strong work ethic.

· Must familiarize and maintain department education with all Spa Retail

· Responsible for helping to find shift coverage when necessary

· Must adhere to local and State Licensing Laws and Regulations.

· Must adhere to local and State Sanitizing laws.

· Cross-promote other Spa and Resort Services

· Possess strong interpersonal abilities.

· Anticipate, identify, and ensure customer needs are being met in the best way.

· Must be able to communicate effectively with The Springs Resort Staff and Management

· Exhibit a professional attitude, diplomacy, and an ability to handle difficult situations.

· Participate in any activity deemed necessary for the normal operations of the Spa department.

· Must perform in a timely manner and pay attention to appointment times

· Cross-promote other Spa and Resort Services

· Possess strong interpersonal abilities

· Coordinate with Spa Manager and Human Resources on special projects as needed.

· Demonstrate an exceptional level of professionalism

· Assist with Retail area ensuring Retail area is always staged for maximum buyer impact

· Must have a High School Diploma/GED.

· Must have current Colorado State Massage License.

· Must perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

· Must be customer service oriented and be able to greet guests in a professional and friendly manner creating an excellent guest experience.

· Will be required to work evenings, weekends, and Holidays.

· Must be able to sincerely listen to spa guests' needs & requests utilizing information gathering to deliver the best possible treatment.

· Experience in Spa and/or Hospitality is a plus but not required.

· Adheres to all policies, procedures, and safety regulations set forth by the Pagosa Resort & Spa.

Physical requirements:

· Flexible and long hours required

· Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs 

· Must be able to Stand for long periods of time
