Position Summary:
We are looking to expand our team and are hiring a passionate, motivated, self-starter to coordinate the Foundation’s programs, primarily focusing on the Restaurants Care granting program. This position will administer the Restaurants Care program including processing grant requests and generating industry and partner outreach to increase awareness and engagement, while also supporting other initiatives to align with Foundation goals. This position begins as part-time and may increase to full-time; can be remote with some office in-person days, and may include occasional travel and weekends.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Management and Growth
- Ensures successful planning and management of the day-to-day Restaurants Care program including but not limited to reviewing and processing grant requests and maintaining communication with the recipients and white-label program managers.
- Propels program growth through outreach, recipient storytelling, and developing a network of care for grant recipients.
- Develops and manages an annual plan for Restaurants Care.
- Inputs and manages program data to generate impact reports and updates. Ensures data integrity.
- Ensures a positive and collaborative working relationship with CRF program recipients, supporters, industry constituents, community-based organizations, and partners.

Marketing, Outreach, and Collaboration
- Assists with strategy and planning and implementation of special events, booths, community outreach events, and presentations.
- Writes program updates, profiles, and content related to the program. .
- Support content updates for the Restaurants Care website and social media.
- Ensures that the annual program updates are completed.
- Promotes the CRF mission and programs, which may require occasional travel in state, out of state, on weekends or in the evening.
General Administration
- High level of problem-solving skills with the ability to align to strategy.
- Understands how to manage within a non-profit culture.
- Supervise volunteers, when applicable.
- Assist with the execution of Foundation annual events, as needed.
- Assists with general administrative tasks.
- Develop policies related to Restaurants Care programs.
- Assume other related responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.
Key Knowledge
- Bilingual (Spanish language writing and conversation skills preferred)
- Ability to use a personal computer and related software. High proficiency in Excel is preferred.
- Ability to travel within the regional area in order to support the Foundation's mission and programs.
- Ability to understand and deal with people from all social and economic levels and backgrounds.
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
Internal Relationships:
Reports directly to the Sr. Director of Development, California Restaurant Foundation. Collaborates with colleagues on the CRF team and within the CRA.
Education and/or Experience:
A baccalaureate degree or higher. Related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Requires excellent communication and customer service skills and exceptional follow-through.
Language Skills:
Bilingual (Spanish language conversation and writing skills preferred)
