Description

The Consulting Engineers Group IL (CEG-IL) is seeking a BIM Modeler/Project Manager with 3-5 years of relevant experience to join our team.

CEG currently has three office locations in the United States with a total of more than 125 employees operating on site and remotely across the nation. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Interpret architectural and structural construction documents
  • Create fully parametric 3D models of precast building structures
  • Interpret engineer’s sketches and calculations
  • Prioritize goals and objectives, adhere to deadlines, and recommend and implement solutions for changes and improvements.
  • Uphold the highest quality of customer service; resolving problems, determining improvements and implementing change.
  • Interface with clients on inquiries.
  • Assist in meeting project objectives.
  • Maintain quality service by following organization standards.
  • Maintain safety by adhering to organization standards.
  • Attend meetings in-house to present updates and status.
  • Review master drawings for accuracy/completion/presentation.
  • Handle or delegate all drawing coordination with A/E, GC or EOR.

Requirements

REQUIRED:

  • Associate Degree in Project Management, Construction Management or a related field (the candidate must possess equivalent combinations of technical training and experience).
  • At least 3 years of Revit experience.
  • Must be self-motivated and have a desire for continued learning and personal growth
  • Must be highly detail oriented with excellent organization skills
  • Positive attitude toward project challenges

PREFERRED:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or similar field is preferred.
