REVELxp is looking for an eager and revenue-minded individual. As the Sales Development Representative, the ideal candidate will be responsible for prospecting, outreach, pipeline movement, lead qualification and appointment setting with businesses in support of the senior sales team to pitch multi-property, national projects and special event experiences. 

The ideal candidate is a driven problem solver who is passionate about sport business sales. The ideal candidate possesses excellent interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to gather and synthesize key information and the ability to work effectively with a variety of colleagues and businesses across multiple levels and geographies. 


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


Primary duties to include, but not limited to the following:

  • Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
  • Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
  • Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
  • Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling introductions and follow-up with the senior sales team.
  • Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward. 
  • Develop and grow relationships within our local markets to generate new leads, referrals, and sales channels through their professional and personal networks, and proactively soliciting and following-up on sales leads.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and performance metrics that are designed by the Director, Corporate Sales
  • Become proficient in sales enablement tools 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT CANDIDATE?

  

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or sports management (or equivalent experience) is preferred
  • Knowledge of sports and the excitement surrounding in-person events is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to build positive professional relationships and interact comfortably and effectively with individuals at all levels of an organization.
  • Self-motivation that drives individual results while being a strong team player
  • Possess a high energy, strong desire to achieve top results with a charismatic, positive “can-do” attitude
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • A positive attitude who will be coachable in best practices
