Description

To handle all of the accounting needs of our clients in a professional, accurate and timely manner. Minimum one year of insurance Accounting & AMS360 experience required.

 
 

Duties

  • Oversee all accounting functions of assigned agencies
  • Ensure we are meeting contractual obligations to clients including time worked
  • Communicate regularly with client
  • Communicate weekly with processors and Director of Accounting
  • Help select , train and develop processors
  • Receive work from clients and delegate to processors
  • Follow-up on all accounting work to verify that it has been done in an accurate and timely manner
  • Communicate directly with Insurance Companies, Banks, CPAs, Payroll vendors and other vendors when necessary and authorized by client
  • General ledger reviews and reports package
  • Identify client training needs and suggest options available
  • Maintain client confidentiality
  • Keep accurate record of time spent on each task
  • Review time submitted by processors for each client
  • Identify possible advancement of processors to Director of Accounting
Requirements

  

  • Computer w/high speed internet      w/virus protection and spy ware
  • 4 years insurance experience
  • Able to sit for extended      periods of time
  • Designated work area where      client documents can be secured
  • Microsoft Office experience and      licensed Microsoft Office software
  • Self motivated
