Nick Rail Music – Private Music Instructor
Nick Rail Music is seeking EXPERIENCED INSTRUMENT MUSIC TEACHERS to teach private music lessons.
Nick Rail Music is a Santa Barbara original and has served local musicians since 1986. We are looking for teachers for a variety of instruments in all instrument families: orchestral strings, woodwind, percussion, brass, fretted strings, etc.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
- Teaching private lessons
- Communicate with parents of students (where applicable) on the progress of each student
- Assisting with customer service issues as needed, helping to maintain long term students by creating a great experience
- Assign practice and other music-related homework to expand the student’s knowledge of music
- Attend all scheduled lessons and participate in recitals
- Provide meaningful and educational instruction with prepared lessons and materials

Pay: $20-45/hour depending on experience
Education:
- Bachelor's in Music (Preferred but not required)
Experience:
- Teaching: 3 year (Preferred)

Hours: Teachers will submit their available schedule and the Lesson Coordinator will work to fill all available time slots. It is understood that teachers will be held to a strict attendance policy.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States - we are an e-verify compliant company
- Must be fluent in English
- Must be over the age of 18
- Must have reliable transportation
